 What is the Outpatient Clinic?

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic offers physician and therapy services in physical medicine and rehabilitation.  Our physicians and staff specialize in multiple areas of rehabilitation medicine including caring for patients with

·        Stroke,

·        Amputation,

·        Spinal Cord Injury,

·        Traumatic Brain Injury,

·        Multiple Sclerosis,

·        Pulmonary Disease,

·        Pediatrics,

·        Urology,

·        Vestibular and Balance disorders,

·        Geriatrics,

·        ALS,

·        Wheelchair Seating and Mobility, and a

·        Wide variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular disorders.

Patients who are being seen in the Pediatric Clinic and the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic should report to the 2nd floor of the Pediatrics building which is located directly behind the main hospital immediately off of Mason- Headley Road building behind the main hospital building immediately off of Mason-Headley Road. 

 Hours of Service:

The clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. 

Many of our physicians are present in the Clinic only once or twice a week and only for specific times, as they also practice in other settings.

In these instances, nursing staff will be available, to answer telephone and voice mail messages. 

  How do I become a client in the Outpatient Clinic?

Patients are referred for Clinic services in several ways:

·        After an inpatient stay at Cardinal Hill

·        From a primary care or specialty physician

·        As part of an evaluation for inpatient rehabilitation services

·        Through local support agencies and organizations

·        By case manager referral

·        From a self referral

 Scheduling or Changing an Appointment:

To schedule or change an appointment, or to notify us of a cancellation, please contact our scheduling department at (859) 367-7141 or (859) 367-7143. Dr. Stiles initial evaluations must be scheduled through her office at at 323-4836.

 Appointment Reminder System:

The Outpatient Clinic has an automated appointment reminder system that will contact you by phone and leave a recorded message reminding you of an upcoming appointment.

 Facts and Figures:

Currently, eleven physicians provide services to over 3,800 patients each year.

Patient Satisfaction:

Meeting your needs is very important to us.  The Clinic has a patient satisfaction survey to help us identify how well we are caring for our patients, what concerns you may have, and how we can improve.  These surveys are mailed to our patients four times a year.  Please complete the survey and return them to us in the pre-addressed, postage paid envelope.  Your input is valued!
