The Cardinal Hill Specialty Hospital is an acute care facility specializing in a team oriented treatment program for individuals with complex medical conditions requiring an inpatient admission of 25 days or more.

Admissions Process

The first step in the admission process is a visit to the patient by an Admission Facilitator to determine appropriateness for admission. Once appropriateness is established the Admission Facilitator will discuss the Specialty Hospital program and services with the patient and family/caregiver.

The Admission Facilitator will then contact the payment source as necessary to approve admission and then will notify the referral source of the admission status.

Copy of the latest EKG

Current lab test results

Therapy records

Other medical records as necessary
