What: A specialized summer program providing children with special needs the opportunity to have summer fun. The program focus is enriched learning experiences with horses under the supervision of staff who are trained and specialize in teaching children with disabilities.
Where: All programming will be offered at Central Kentucky Riding for Hope’s fully accessible facility located in the Kentucky Horse Park.
When: June 4, 2018 through August 3, 2018 Monday—Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
Who: School age children with special needs
Enrollment Deadline: May 1 or open until full
Enrollment Requirements: Medical history with physician’s signature must be provided
Fees: $250 per week; $60 per day
Enrollment preference will be given to children attending 5 day per week for the entire summer. Second preference will be given to children attending 1-3 set days per week for the entire summer.
Lunch: Families will provide brown bag lunch
